HERitage Female Classic Hockey Festival

About Us

The HERitage Female Classic

The Edmonton Female Hockey Alliance (EFHA) was created with a singular vision: to unite girls playing minor hockey in Alberta's capital under one association. By bringing these athletes together, we are elevating development, improving the player experience, and ensuring that female hockey in Edmonton thrives for years to come.
We are proud to host the inaugural HERitage Female Classic Hockey Festival in Edmonton, Alberta.
 

MORE THAN A TOURNAMENT

From January 29 to February 1, 2026, we will welcome over 30 teams from across Western Canada (U9 to U18 divisions) for a four-day showcase of the female game.
We see this as more than just a tournament; it's a complete athlete experience. Our committment to developing the whole player means that beyond the four-game guarantee, we provide an immersive environment featuring:
 
  • Specialized on-ice clinics and off-ice training sessions
  • Interactive team-building workshops
  • Inspiring guest appearances
  • Exclusive photo experiences and vendor showcases

  • Thursday, Jan 29: Opening Day Games (12:00 PM – 9:45 PM)
  • Friday, Jan 30: Games, Clinics, Vendor Showcase & Special Events (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
  • Saturday, Jan 31 (Female Hockey Day): Games, Clinics, Skills Competition (8:00 AM – 10:30 PM)
  • Sunday, Feb 1: Championship Games & Finals (8:30 AM – 4:15 PM)
